'PIV is a noble project that seeks to launch the arts at grassroots level.  By actively encouraging student participation and offering incentives, it will spur the kids to reach within themselves for the best they can offer.  My deepest joy will be one day in the future to point a finger at a famous international artist and proudly say, "A product of PIV'. Christopher Mlalazi on Power In The Voice

'For me this is a very noble project in the sense that it attempts to nurture the arts at grassroots level. It gives the students all the time and space to develop into adulthood and also enough time to make one's name visible -the artist's name is so vital in an artists career. The project will also bring a sort of 'international' excitement to the countries' almost dying arts scene, as it embraces other countries - it also positively forges inter country relationships because currently PIV is the buzz word in South Africa.'
