Maliya Mzyece Sililo
Maliya ranks amongst the very few published female fiction writers in Zambia. She has transferred her skills into full time storytelling, which she uses as an effective avenue to impart folklore and life skills to Zambian youths. Because there is a dwindling appreciation of storytelling among young people, and fewer opportunities to meet storytellers, Maliya has earned many accolades for her revitalisation of the artform. Her teaching experience has proved invaluable to her close work with young people.
