Manunes Jackson
About Manunes Jackson
'My artist name is Manunes Jackson, I started my career differently in 1988, I joined a famous band in my city, young people who danced 'Beet', a style peculiar to Bob Brown and time went by and this style faded away and a new MC Hammer style came in, which is Rap.
I had many shows with my new band Fat Boys and I became famous and a great rap dancer in the city and I had many invitations to other provinces. This way my name quickly spread to the central region and then I felt like singing and dancing rap music and I started recording instrumental songs from various artists and put in my voice, the first success was the song that talked about our band Fat Boys then the came today's success Indionenimbo.
This in 1996 was accorded the best song award by Radio Mozambique and from then on in my city rap music ceased improving, the reason why I started with my dance school at Casa da Cultura with more than 32 students and until now it is a big success in addition to rap, I am also a great rap dancer that is why they call me Manunes Jackson.
My work means added value work and every thing I do I do it with all my heart and feeling, my aim is exactly to have more hope in workshops.'
